Once the public needs are well in hand, organizations find they have a set of needs of sharing information that is often not intended for public consumption or possibly not ready for public consumption.
These needs have traditionally been relegated to email, spreadsheets, and draft documents. Few if any systems provide adequate tools to manage the private information needs of organizations. Group Commons attempts to address these needs by providing modules that can address some of these needs. Not all modules apply to all organizations.
